Allan and Gale Peterson are both natives of North Dakota but have lived in Dallas Texas since 1970. They are the parents of two daughters, two son in laws and four grandchildren.
Allan is a former Naval officer serving from 1966-1970. He made two cruises to the Western Pacifc during this period and was discharged overseas. He and Gale were founders of two companies in Dallas which were sold to publicy traded firms. He has served on the Board of Trustees at Ursuline Academy and along with Gale have endowed six scholarships at the school. They have been active in thoroughbred horse racing and are members of the Lousiana Thoroughbred Association.
